The Princess of Dusk

To the Head Seat of the Order of Domarot

Master you have requested I search out a group of “trackers”. Using the basic guidelines you gave me for choosing I only found one that fit our needs. Of those you suggested they would not suit our purpose. They are too renown or too high upon being recognized publicly. The one I think we can use is Atin Vadru.

Atin Vedru…. Princess of Dusk

I stumbled upon Atin Vedru by clear chance my lord. Upon entering the coastal town of Traj, I traveled to our temple their. As I neared the temple I found it in flames. I ran towards it to see if the fire was trying to be controlled but a far more disturbing site greeted me. Three horribly disfigured creatures burst from the massive oak doors their bodies in flames. Where the flesh had burned away though barbed bones and talons could be seen. One spun his eyes ignited. He lunged towards me but his body exploded in a wave of gore and blood. As wiped the gore from my face, I saw her. A high collared coat hid her face, only the eyes ablaze with vengeance could be seen. She ran forward throwing a dagger past my head. I spun around to avoid the blade only to see the creature behind me stumble back clutching the dagger now lodged in its throat. His body fell as he began to spasm. I stumbled up to my feet as the third one managed to run away, sadly for him it was off a nearby cliff.

I was quite frightened by her, I must admit. She was no taller or bigger than most women of our order. She gave off an aura of darkness though that made me want to fall to my knees in prayer in front of her. She approached removing her hat. She unbuttoned her collar and lowered her bandana around her lower face. Now that I could look upon her I was even more astonished. She was attractive. Her appeal was even more enhanced by her dark hair with a streak of blond. She flicked her hand against her coat lighting a match. She then lit up a cigar pulled from a silver case. When I say we are looking at a working with a walking conundrum she surely fits the bill. I approached her with your satchel containing your mission. She took it and offered me to eat with her.

When we arrived at the local inn a meal was already waiting for her. As we ate and I surely did eat. She told me of the foolishness of what you are considering. She demeaned our religion and most others for that matter. She even made gestures that if I surely spent one night with her that I would defy my own god. She is the vilest creature I have ever encountered. Yet I believe she will fit our purposes. Even if she is a brazen female who smokes, curses, and drinks far more than she should. She has the tattoo of the elven raven god, Kida, upon the left side of her face. If you recall he is the trickster of the elven gods. Surely we shall watch her with caution. Just as I imagine she will watch us. Seeing as how none of our others worked out, she has suggested some another choice. What follows is one of the most horrid dregs of society.
